Photographer’s Note

The last rays of a beautiful autumn day light up this small valley in Salaj county, with a drinking trough on the hillside where local shepherds and herdsmen bring their herds for replenishment. A HDR image made from 3 exposures.

An HDR image? Interesting and fun, Steve. It worked out well. I keep trying HDR and it isn't working very well much of the time. I'll keep practicing. Meanwhile, I really enjoy this a lot. The trough is very well placed and adds a lead-in to the image. I like also your placement of the sun. Well done.

Dear Hamiltons!
You have used the HDR in a very sensitive and modest way, and I thank you for that. A lot of times HDR intent to look very artificial.
The image has a fantastic evening mood and a good presence.
