Photographer’s Note
The sun sets on a hot and humid day. After a brief rain shower the mist and steam rises along the valley floor and drifts among the wild flowers.

Hello,
Very nice shot, I like the big deep of field, the blur of movement induced by the wind on some flowers and the global smooth colors like an watercolors painting.
Well done,
Yves.

great place ! great picture !
in the country side , in France , one use so many chemical products , weedkiller , fertilizer and the consequence is that this kind of "savage" flowers and plants have almost disappeared from the landscape
what a nice prairie . i'd like to smell the perfume of the ground after rain...
greetings

I just saw your other version on TN, and this one is a lot better. It's good to see that you took care not to trample the grass and flowers in front of your tripod in this one!
The colours have an attractive softness to them, and your exposure was spot-on, bringing out the subtle hues in the sky as well as in the rest of the image.
I think I'd have preferred it without the slight movement blur, but at such a long shutter speed I suppose it was inevitable.
Cheers,
Ben

Steve and/or Ioana,
that is exactly the type of landscape photography that I love so much. A very good enganging, full of detail and nature in the foreground leading into an image with outbursting colors and textures in form of mountain, rock, clouds, you name it. I love the fog coming in on the left side and that purple/pink touch on the right side.
Wonderful!!!
Regards, Peter
