Photographer’s Note

A sunny and mild autumn day in the Messes mountains of north-west Romania. In only a week this whole area has lost almost all of its leaves. The ones still clinging to the Beech trees are brown and dry. This time last year we had both coloured leaves and snow here. This year we have neither. Climate change may be the cause. I fear so.
