Photographer’s Note
the Culture Palace is located in the center of Targu-Mures city, and it's one of the most representative building in this city.
the palace was build between 1911-1913 by that time's town councilor, Bernády György and was designed by the architects Komor Marcell and Jakab Dezső.
on the outside, the palace is decorated with mosaics and bas-reliefs made of bronze and stone, frescoes and strained-glass windows.
in the inside, the mirror hall has two groups of three crystal-made mirrors, and twelve strained-glass windows occupying the whole street wall. the strained-glass windows were proposed to represent europe in the exhibition of decorative art in san franciso in the yaer 1914, but, because of the first world war, only their sketches were sent. and won.
