Silent street Photo

Photographer’s Note

Having finished the dinner with my family after a long trip to Sighisoara , I just came out to enjoy the atmosphere of this old city. This otherwise busy street looked so silent and quiet.Nobody on streets, just me and my sister Anes, I really think someone needs some precious moments like this to fall in love with Sighisoara :)
I really enjoyed the silence .
And the atmosphere, but the light wasn't so good, so I used a very high ISO

This is a beautiful scene, and you are right—seems quiet and peaceful. It seems a bit too red/orange to me though. This may be how it really looked, but I made some changes and posted it as a sepia in the workshop.

Great shapes and colours, sometimes you just have to shoot those high iso numbers - still better than no shot at all.

This looked to me like one of mine!!!!! Fabulous control over the lights and the accompanying hues. Shows why you are surely amongst th best on the circuit.

Hello Isabela,
I remember this shot from one of your earlier posts except then is was daytime.
I like the night exposure, it gives the passageway a lot more drama. Your post work is excellent, the overall red cast goes well with the incandescent light.

The color , tone and lighting are well balance , the warm approach of the lighting make the city very old as a whole...Very nice High Dynamic Range editing...the image is crisp , clear and sharp! Well done!

at this size, the high isos don't matter..
the angle of view is great..
may be somebody is missing there,

Beautiful compo from a great pov with a lot of depth
and beautiful warm/golden colours
I like the quietness and all the curves (arches-road) in this ancient part of the town/village.

A nice and gloomy alley where you've decided to keep a warm glow all over.

I remember a presentation from your sister, with a similar tenebrous arched passage, but in a different location and under different light condition.

Perfect use of your vertical frame where the scene fill the frame perfectly.
