Photographer’s Note

Greetings to all, this picture was taken near village Plugova. It was beautiful noon after horror night. I lost myself in wood and spent night in forgotten cot. Romania is beatuful country worth to trek but not alone. LN

P.S.: I am sorry for infidelity of place but I was searching for right region of Plugova and didnt find it. If you know right state give me please note and I´ll correct it.

This Romanian rural landscape is really fascinating. Very skilfully composed vertical taken from a good perspective with nice use of fields and hills leading to the mountains. All i really miss here is a better light - that one is flat, unfortunately.

Yes, the light is a little flat, Ladislav, but my main criticism is that the photo is rather small. The composition, clarity and colour are lovely. Increase the contrast or levels, and make it a bit bigger and you would have a masterpiece. Still, it is a lovely scene from a well chosen viewpoint.
