Photographer’s Note
well,you believe in sorceries?
in ours village,the peasants still believe in the power of sorceries;
the woman from the left told the others what happened last night...with a big frog who comes in her room...almost she can died..olala;she took a bat and send away the big frog-in the lake;after that,she feels great.
it seems that big frog was bewitched;
they was so concentrated with that story,even when make the photo don't looked me...

I think perhaps a little too much light from the flash, but I do like the faces of the women and the tight circle they have. They can be a little scary! We once had one of the Maramures women make a motion across her throat to us, in the "off with their heads" sort of way. But her friend laughed a lot, and we still have our heads, so I think we're ok.

You're back!!!! :) Nice to see you, Flory. In most remote places of the countryside, these stories are common I guess. I actually like to hear these stories and observe the way they strongly believe in them. And at night, those stories can have more impact and make the atmosphere misterious. Nice capture of these three ladies. I like the way they are dressed and their postures in circle. Although it was nice to have a better look of the faces on the sides, you still manage to get a good framing. Problably taken in a train, or bus...
Well done.
Have a nice weekend,

Bonjour, mon amie Flory,

Hi Flory,
The scared faces of ladies is perfectly depicting your story. I remember of our childhood days when we used to listen such stories.
A good piece of work

Once apon a time, a frog hopped out of his home in the marsh and proclaimed to all the beasts in the land that he was a great and learned physician, skilled in the use of drugs and able to heal all diseases.
Then magic Fox asked him, "How can you pretend to prescribe for others, when you are unable to heal your own lame gait and wrinkled skin?" And what do you think he did then ?
He transformed little frog into pretty young lady ....

Interesting characters, an authentic slice of daily life, maybe the flash was a tad too strong.

Hola Flory.
Good history and very good shot, nice way to capture four old ladies chatting about their experiences. Very well captured, good POV and DOF. Maybe a little burned at the wall, otherwise a good one.
TFS. Best regards.
