| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Nobody knows when exactly it was built. It has some text references from the IVth century (yes, 4) but it is belief that it is even older. Of course, along the history it was reshaped and some appendix added but the core of the church is very old. It’s very interesting that you find all kind of stones there, some from ancient Dacian strongholds (some particular limestone) and also stones from Roman occupation. Presently is undergoing a restoration process (now it’s in phase 3, the inside restoration).
What can I say, just go there and visit it!
Technical data:
Some contrast, levels and curves adjustment in Photoshop. Sorry for the quality, all that day was cloudy and we had only 15 minutes to spend there.
Enjoy. |

Hello Alexandru!
Foarte interesnata fi frumoasa vechea biserica! N-as fi gicit ca se afla in Romania, daca asi fi vazut poza fara nici un indiciu.
Perfecta perspectiva si buna lumina! Ii da un aer misterios.
