Photographer’s Note
Sarmizegetusa Regia – capital city before of Roman Dacia, was in a south-west of Transylvania part. The city about the area over 3km2 was built at 1200 m.l.a.s.l. It probably came into existence during the reign of the Burebista king, and then it was extended. It was destroyed by Romen in year 106, during the II war of the Decebal king with the Roman Empire.
