Photographer’s Note
This castle, seen here in the warm glowing light of sunset, meets all the requirements of a typical fairytale medieval castle. It is perched on a large rock, it is imposing and menacing, has battlements, towers and turrets and a drawbridge. It is the Huniad (aka Corvin) castle, located on the southwestern outskirts of the town of Hunedoara (Hungarian: Vajdahunyad, German: Eisenmarkt).
Dating back to the 1200s, the castle became the hereditary seat of the local Huniad (aka Corvin) noble family since the end of the 14th century, whose members, important figures of Transylvanian and Hungarian history, enlarged the old citadel and turned it into an impressive Gothic-Renaissance residence and stronghold.

But why it is uncommented yet? I like this compo, the perfect sharpness, the colours and the detailed description. Thanks for sharing, Jalab

Buna,
Numai bine, Johannes
