Photographer’s Note
While photographing the amazing Corvin Castle at Hunedoara I couldn't help but notice this poor old place on the hill opposite the castle. On of the many old industrial ruins scattered about the countryside. Many of these old industrial giants fell into disrepair and subsequent abandonment following the fall of communism. A combination of 3 bracketed frames to create a HDR image.

Hi Steve & Ioana,
It is sad to see such decay as it sometimes reflect the economic status of the area. Well composed and good color quality. Well done ... TFS
Cheers,

I love the colours and impact of the sky on this one Steve. It's a good use of the HDR method, but I do feel that the photo could do with a little more contrast and sharpening. I'll have a go at a workshop later to show you what I mean.

Dear Hamiltons
Sometimes I could found those type of buildings more intresting in an image POV than a castle. They tell the same story in to totaly different ways, the story of rise and fall.
In this one a wish I could get a bit closer, that would give the building more impact more expression.
