Photographer’s Note
Driving back from Bucharest to Vienna I decided to take the way via Tirgu Jiu. While most of you will not know where this is maybe some of you have heard of Constantin Brancusi, the probably most influential sculpturor of the 20th century, and, as some say, the Picasso of sculpturors. Well, he was born there, and some of his most important works are on display. Not on this photo, here it is just cold and winter, but I will show you some throughout the next week or so. So, to warm up (or cool down, as you prefer), a first photo from Tirgu Jiu!

I like the atmosphere which there is in this one... There is melancholy in your photo... This empty bench and this intrusive snow are magnificent, so congratulations and congratulations for this one johannes...
