After returning from the remote countryside, it felt like I had been transported into another world when back in a town with formal buildings and guided rivers.
I stumbled upon a major Romanian soap opera being filmed and felt again in another world... these people were famous in this region, yet outside of this country few would have ever seen their faces.
It give me much pleasure that pockets still have their own culture and ideas. Even just a few miles apart there were alternate realities... those in this town and those in the hills have a daily life entirely different than one another. |
