Winter Colours Photo

Photographer’s Note

For all of you that do not yet have a winter depression, here comes your chance!
I´m really longing for colours now. I want yellow, red, orange, green, purple, whatever, but all I get is brown, grey, white, shades of blue, if I´m lucky. Hard times. Winter, go away! Spring, come soon!

Brrrrr ! Fog, low temperature... real witer image and good capture.
Have good contrst and light represented the winter season.

Hi Johannes,

well you expressed what I feel. I want colours too. Well I would satisfied at least with a glimpse of sun. We have such a heavy fog that we had only a half an hour of sun in 10 days...
Thanks to your photo I have now double depression. :)

Hi Johannes, looks like the weather's very much the same all over Europe... at least here in Italy it's been grey and overcast for the last week. But hopefully we'll get some nice winter weather before the spring comes!
Anyway, I like your photo. It has a great wintery feel about it with the frost on the trees and the mist receding into the distance - a simple but very atmospheric capture. That at least is something you shouldn't feel depressed about!

wir haben heute auch schon die Tage gezählt, bis das Klagenfurter Strandbad wieder aufsperrt :)
es ist öd...
aber Dein Bild zeigt auch Ruhe, Innehalten, Leere.. ist auch schön :)
technisch vielleicht ein bisschen zu scharf

Spring arrived with full power in California. Not so sure if you have the same benefit in Romania, but with such beautiful landscape during winter I wouldn't be depressed by overjoyed. It is a wonderful photographic moment that you captured here. It might be a little bit oversharpened, but still a very good one.
