Photographer’s Note
What I was looking for in that day was a soft, pensive look...Where the subject’s thoughts are “way out there” someplace, and totally unaware that they are being watched, much less being photographed....
This beautiful girl was an absolute delight to work with...

Pensive look. Yes. But to me it is an apostle of peace. When grown up, I am sure she will have lot of power with lot more of grace. A beautiful shot, Isabela. Happy weekend.

Your favourite theme. Fine photo, but a little bit overexposed, I presume.
Regards my dear friend.

Hi Isabela,
This is a very nice picture. I like the strong black and white contrast here. Very sharp. And great perspective with the child concentrated on something. Well done

I like the tones variation here isabela. The so white girl face, the grey of the wood andthe dark background. The contrasts between then is wonderful. the girls has a very pretty face and a expression of doubt ("where I gonna play now").

Hi Isa,
The pensive mood is perfect here. The model in picture is contemplating may be about her future or something else. But you have catch excellent mood and note is also pensive.

I think you are very successful in getting that pensive look on the face of this lovely girl. It may look better if you cropped the big area of the washed-out wood boards because it distracts from your subject. I did a Workshop to show you what I have in mind.

Hello Isabela,
A beautiful image. Nice pensive look indeed. A little bit of over exposure I suppose. But that is fine with me.

I must say that i like this version better than the WS as it gives us a better feel of the scene.
On capturing the scene .. yes you seem to be pretty successful .. congrats on that
but i am curious if you tried any photo with the lower POV .. i mean with the eyes of the girl on the level of the camera.
te pup

A very nice portrait again. Same candid look and a very nice setting too. You have an eye for the kid's portraits!
