Photographer's Note
Trivale Park
The building of this park begun in 1900 when the administrative authorities together with the residents tried to transform a part of Trivale Forest into a park for the city, and because it was very close to the town centre (now, after the urbanisation, it’s a 10 minutes walking distance from the city hall). For this aim, the city hall asked the Austrian noble Thedeus Graf Lubenschi for buying trees and other plants for the park. From a document of 16 March 1902 we can see that they bought: 25 pieces of pine tree, 1000 pieces of Australian pine, 100 pieces of white pine, 25 pieces of Cembra pine, 100 pieces of spruce, 20 pieces of wild olive tree and 100 pieces of sycamore. Also, the city hall has spent an important sum of money for expropriations in order to enlarge the surface of the park.
In 1903, the architect E. Redont made a facelift plan for the park and ordered more trees from Austria and France.
Ten years later, another renewal was made by another architect from Bucharest, Pinard.
Today is the largest natural park of the city with minimal artificial facilities and a small old church in the middle.

Hello Daniel,
The red bench is very well placed and fits the autumn atmosphere perfectly. I almost get an impression it's part of an installation placed here by an artist just for this part of the year. The vertical shape of the photo also suits the composition perfectly.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Daniel - I like this a lot, the composition and narrow vertical framing is very well balanced with the empty benches leading us into the autumn forest. The colours are lovely and the textures of the thick carpet of fallen leaves very attractive. I think that 'empty bench' images always have a special atmosphere and story behind them, a kind of lonely emptiness or a patient waiting. A poetic shot which works very convincingly. Warm regards rosemary

Ciao dear Daniel
Ahh, you are so lucky to have 4 separate seasons to the year. In Australia, we don't really have Autumn - certainly not an Autumn like this, with such wonderful colours. The textures, colours and composition with the lone bench are splendid. Wonderful light control and excellent tight vertical framing. great job.
Warm regards
Lisa

Bonjour Daniel,
C'est une photo que l'on voit souvent à l'automne. Je ne sais pas pourquoi les bancs de parc vides et les feuilles mortes attirent autant. C'est très réussi comme cadrage.

Hi Daniel
This is a clean execellent shot suitable in this format and a pleasure to view. The burst of autumn colors add that all important impact, and the fiery red bench makes all the vital touch. I simply love the vibrancy of colors and the contrast they create to the environment. Fine detail and the fallen leaves drawing out a good effect for the whole scene. Excellent clarity and sharpness. A high quality image and superb autumn scene. Congrast. TFS
