Photographer’s Note
Eng: This is the Soimos Castle, built in the 12th century, resembling a little bit with the castles from the Hollywood films, in fact a few Romanian historical films, beeing realised here.
Rom: Daca nu ma insel "Pe aici nu se trece" a fost turnat aici si in zonele invecinate, castelul mai apare pe eticheta apelor minerale Lipova, orasul fiind vizibil de pe deal.

Excellent art image, with the hill leading to the ancient castle and dramatic sky.
Thanks for sharing.
PS: Wonder why the name 'Crisana Code' ?

Hi Marian,
A picturesque ruin in a scenic location. The colour photo you posted later is also achieved, but while generally I prefer colours to B&W, I like this one better. I find it very appealing, you used wisely the rocks and the shape of the hill to make the castle stand out. The B&W seems very appropriate to the subject, although it's very pleasant to see the Spring colours on the other post.
You contradict yourself in the notes: here you say it is from the 12th century, in the other post you say that it is 300 years newer.
Regards, José.

Marian!
Very good shot of a medevial architecture! I like that image a lot. It is what a good photo of a castle should be. Well chosen point of view. Cheers!
