Very nice capture of the environment.. One can actually feel the biting cold and the tough conditions..

Horatiu, good evening.
This is one of the best portraits I have seen in a long time, this lady shepherd shows so much strength and character.
The snow blowing across the picture makes it look very cold, great picture.

I think, Horatiu, that this is one of a good photo!
At least, it is one of your photos that I like the best.
I think that falling snow is a very lovable asset in a picture and you have just that. But you also have an interesting subject. I wonder what she was doing with that fir branch. But seeing that the photo was taken just two days before Christmas, I think I don't have to take a wild guess! ;)
Yes, snow and the subdued light is making this photo soft and tender, somehow. And I love it! Well... for the biggest part of your photo, namely: the background. I do have a problem with the same ingredients though, for your principal subject: the woman. I did a WS to show you what I mean. I did it fast, with a low resolution. So, the result is not as good as what would be great. But, it is to give you an idea of what I think is missing.
Somehow, your photo make me think of some photos of Slobodan Simic (in TE and in TL. Though sometimes the PP is a bit too much, the photos are still very excellent.

Claire said it all and at utmost honesty.

A bit of more contrast ( just a bit) seems to be a good advice ( just a bit - again).

In summary - a most delightful production one can desire.

Bonjour Horatiu, j aime les flocons de neige qui volent, j aime les branches de sapin dans les bras de la femme, une photo d'ambiance hivernale!

Two excellent version of the shot, almost impossible to decide which one I like best, maybe just going for the WS, although the main post does have more 'toughness' in the atmosphere. Great post, Horatiu, thanks.
