Photographer’s Note
A grandpa and his nephew walking to the tunnel of The Third Gate of the city's citadel. After the second gate, out of which only the lateral pylons are preserved, next follows the most important and most grandiose of the gates, the third gate.It actually represents the entrance to the fortress.
I liked how confident looks this young girl and as you can see this gate is under construction(for more than 10 years I think).
*The grandpa wanted to help the girl to pass into the dark, but she said she doesn't wants help.

Another sad and glomy "street life" photo with incredible atmosphere. Well done, no doubt.

Hello Horatiu,
You seem to be specialising in these rather desolate and gloomy images lately. But, here the gloom is nicely relieved by the little girl with her blonde ringlets and light coloured top. A well observed and executed image; should teach us not to be afraid of the dark!

Hi Horatiu,
it is interesting how there is almost always something positive in however very dark images of yours. This one is no exception. Actually, it has two positive motives: grandpa and his nephew. One helping young generation to cope with the dark surrounding of a world and a little girl, full of life and prosper. Again excellent almost BW work. I prefer both. Maybe coloured one a little more.
Kind regards,
Jeri
