Great composition. Whilst the knot is a focal point the most powerful thing about this image for me is the way that it feels like a compressed perspective and those shapes of contrasting colour revealing another visual dimension very subtly. Artistic and creative.

An original minimalist composition, both red and white dominant colors give great strength to the composition, the ship's mooring rope gives a nice touch of graphics and enhances fine textures.

3 colours for an attractive picture!
Even i knots sometimes look quiet "rough",they are anyway the fact of professionals fishermen who really know what they do!
In high seas,the difference between a wrong and a right knot may cost lives...

There are a lot of possibilities of subjects in the ports . Not easy to choose the good one . Here , you've done very well , with the knot as the focal point , and a white and red scenery . The framing works well , too .
