Photographer's Note
This is my sixth entry (out of alltogether 10) from my visit to Romania in 2004.
This church (of Monastery Voronet) was very impressive for me, as -as one can see- all fresques are been painted (by an artist named Marcu in 1547) on the outside walls of the church, which is quite unusual. And the colours are so beautiful and fresh as if they were been painted just a few weeks ago. Allthough it was been built in late 14th century.
My impressions was, that those scenery from the old testament had a function like modern worlds billboards!
Anyhow it is really worth to visit and see this church the monastery and it's surrounding. Unfortunately it was a dim and rainy day when I was there, but on the other side this was good for the picture, as they are not too sharp shadows on it.
A visit to Romania without seeing Voronet is like making a birthday cake without cream and candles !

Merhaba Mesut. I think the overcast day served you well as the colours are rich and the light just right. Great details and a good Pov which reveals a big canvas of images. Selamlar. Klaudio.I do like your simile of the cake.

Merhaba Mesut Bey,

Merhaba Mesut,
a masterpiece of art work, well composed, with excellent sharpness and details and taken from an interesting angle that enables a viewer to concentrate on every single detail (each scene) of the painting. Very good note too.
Kind Regards.

That mural is absolutely stunning, and there's great light on it as well, but I think you could have done better here Mesut. I don't think there was any need to include the trees and stuff over on the right, it doesn't really add anything, and is an unnecessary distraction.
I think shooting from directly in front of the wall would have worked better, perhaps including a couple of awestruck visitors looking up at the mural. Best to keep thing simple, I think.
Cheers,
Ben

The artwork on the church is stunningly beautiful and you have captured it well. (The weather looks bright, not dull as you say in your note) I like the perspective composition and almost using the walls to frame the sky. Well done

Excellent colors and light, interesting POV. The painted wall, the blue sky, the rather low light, the tourists and their shadows make an effective compo.
