Photographer’s Note

This summer seems to be full of thunderstorms, last week hardly a day passed without flashes and thunders. Yesterday evening, on my way back from the mountains, I came across this one, and I stopped, just a kilometer or so away from a refinery that magicaly attracted flashes all the time.

What a sky!! You caught the moment very well and I like the pink colours. Hope you didn't get too wet :-)

Good catch. You made a nice shot. I like the composition with all the looming dark sky hanging over the lightening. Thanks for sharing.

Johannes, Great shot, and not only the lightening bolt. The stacks spewing their waste into the air and the lights in the silhouettes make for a surreal scene, well done.
