Photographer’s Note

Saturday I drove to some small villages about 90 minutes north of Bucharest, where the huge plain along the Danube ends and the Carpathian mountains start with some gentle hills. It´s a very pleasent landscape, with zero tourism, largely undiscovered because everybody from Bucharest is spending their weekends in the overcrowded and (this is a subjective opinion, of course) not even very beautiful Prahova valley. Here, only 20 km to the east from Prahova valley, children are playing on the streets and people are greeting you when you drive past.

A beautiful springtime landscape . Romanian countryside is really harmonius . The composition is excellent , with the tree in the fore ground , and the fences . I like a lot the colors , too .

Good morning Johannes,

So spring has also arrived in Romania and it seems you had a great day going out and seeing this landscape in front of you. The yellow buttercups look beautiful while the tree probably needs another two weeks to show all his beauty. Fresh bright colours with some little fluffy clouds on top. Seems like a wonderful location....very nice work.

I like this phot very much because of this wonderful landscape and its absolute calm and somehow easygoing atmosphere. One nearly cannot show spring in a more beautiful way. I wolud like to step into your picture now ... ;-)

aa..ce imagine simpla si frumoasa..uneori..sau poate de cele mai multe ori lucrurile simple sunt cele mai frumoase..si mai pline de semnificatii:)
