A scene from Ploiesti, my home city. Two days ago I bought a new camera (Nikon D40) and yesterday I went out to test it.

It is a nice view of your town. I wish they could bury all those power lines. The sky looks quite dramatic and menacing too. Well done.

I like your compo here, with great dynamics and contrasts in the picture.
Sky tones are beautiful, and too caught details in the FG people.

Hello Andreea,
Fine colours and sharpness of details. A good composition with the line of people in the foreground. A lot of atmosphere, much thanks to the fine clouds and the late afternoon colours.

Congratulations for your new too, the Nikon D40.
Is it a wide angle shot?
The colours look natural...ha ha ha...as many hee on Te keep on increasing layers upn layes to magnifying the beauty...with the result that the colous look unnatural.

I am not so sure about the sky blue colour on the top right.

Waiting for more shots....and this camera will not allow you to sleep...without clciking even in dreams.

Errrrrrrrrrrrr...I did buy a new camera , SONY DSC-H50, lat but one week...and the Learning Continues.........

Une très belle scène de rue sous une superbe atmosphère crée par ce ciel très esthétique.Le format carré est bien adapté à cette image.

Bonjours,
belle photo de cette grande rue avec ces fils électriques, ces lampes, ces cathétaires pour les tram, ils habille cette ville.
Bien vu sur ce large trotoir cette bande de jeunes qui se promènent.
Jolies couleurs et bonne netteté de l' ensemble malgrés le ciel fort couvert mais non moins jolis a admirrer.

This is very interesting. I am not sure what get my attention the most, the people or the wires above. The city does seem very pleasant and having people here add more life to the view. Nice work and keep practicing with your new toy :-)

Five guys and two girls, Ploiesti must be a paradise for women !
A fine street documentary, where the dwindling light indicates night is coming up...
A good sky and lots of details to explore in the street!

ma bucur ca t-ai luat un aparat nou! la inceput dureaza putin pana face cum vrei tu - am facut si eu cam 1.000 de poze pana au inceput sa iese asa cum am vrut eu. Dar t-ai luat un aparat foarte bun, si uite-te la cer, ce bine a iesit!
