Photographer’s Note

This is a scene of my home-city, Ploiesti, more precisely from the greatest park of Ploiesti, the Sports Hall Park (Sala Sporturilor). I must say that this is one of my favorites months of the year, April, where everything is green, fresh green, where there are blossoming trees and lilac flowers...

Very beautiful harmony of the colors in this photograph, I like much the composition. The bokeh is very pleasant and lets see the background nicely. Pretty glance on the spring, cheer.

io, la mine in oras, am lalele la buchete brunete. odata erau pe strazi dar, tzigancile, fiintze sensibile si gingashe, au zis ca e pacat sa zaca florile infipte in pamantul rece, asa ca le-au desprins de natura spre a le da in adoptie pe 3 lei bucata...e ca un trafic de carne vie, numai ca nu e carne vie, ce dreacu'.

Is a bit unfair that while many countries are already enjoying spring, people in Calgary are enjoying cold tempreatures and a heavy blanket of snow. Nice picture with perfect focus on the flowers. The colours look great here and enhance the feeling of the moment. Nice work!

Nice picture. The flowers make an incredible contrast to their green surrounding. I like that. Also the sharpness (good choice of f/4), your point of view and the off-central positioning of the main object.

Andreea, j'aime beaucoup ce gros plan sur ce lilas dans son environnement. Un lieu propice au repos avec le vert qui domine et le banc qui attend les promeneurs pour la pause.
