Photographer’s Note

In autumn, the wild vine gets magnifical colours. It is almost unbelievable how nice a simple, common plant can be. Today, on the 20th of November, all this beauty is just a memory, all the red and yellow leaves are gone. I think that photography was invented for this: to capture or--this is the ideal case--to reveal the beauty of simple, common things--like this wild vine growing on the wall of my house.
I have no idea to what extent I have managed to do this, but I believe it is worth continuing to try...
