Photographer’s Note

Izvorul Muntelui Lake is an artificial lake. The dam was built between 1950 and 1960 when tens of villages and thousands of people were moved on the slopes of the mountains next to the new formed lake.
Today, a beautiful road goes along this lake for about 40km.

A great view, perfectly captured. The falling light looks like coming from big spotlights up in the sky. I also like the soft colours.

A beautiful sight, Daniel. The sunrays are great as well as the depth created by the mountain slopes giving it good depth. The blue roofs of the houses give it a special touch. TFS, Alex

Hello Daniel!
First of all, I'd like to say I have commented on one of your photographs ("Fog Tunnel") that I really like, however, as we cannot edit our comments anymore, I was unable to give two points to it! Sorry! Anyway, I looked at your gallery and found lots of interesting pictures, such as this one! The image is wonderful and I specially like the management of light that gave such a perfect and beautiful effect to the scene, with the sunbeams coming out of the clouds and reaching the water down below!
