Ceahlau Massif Photo

Photographer’s Note

Heading east after negotiating the awesome spectacle of Cheile Bicaz we come upon the Ceahlau Massif. Known as the 'Jewel of Moldavia' Ceahlau forms part of the Eastern Carpathian chain. It has the appearance of a huge ruined castle, with towers and walls. Unfortunately this was as close as I got but I'm determined to return to hike among its awesome landscape.

your posting pace is just to fast for me to keep up. I hope you don't mind if I come by only from time to time. Anyway, I always enjoy to look into your galery and your newest achievements.
The composition is extremely lovely and your are opening my senses for Romania. This image lamost gives me the feeling that you did some layer work here. Did you?

Another terrific shot, with great light and shade and colours. Good viewpoint to show the property in the valley, but perhaps a pity you didn't get more or all of the red roof on the left in the frame. There is clearly some magnificent scenery in Romania, something I had never contemplated before. Well done.

glad you put soft filter in..for a extreme wa shot with dof from here to there ..you blanked it all out
deliberately and so created a not so record shot but one of beauty and mood

Very nice atmosphere here. I don't know if that because you use a soft filter but the sharpness is not very good. Perhaps, I you should to crop the left part of youtr image to shift on the left the house of the background. Cordially,

Hi folks.

The saturation gives it a kind of oil on canvas feel a bit. Great dimension with this point of view. Wonderful scene .. I love the pastoral feeling of the land with these moody clouds. Very nice.
