Lacul Rosu iv Photo

Photographer’s Note

Something diffrent from my visit to Lacul Rosu. In the evening I hiked to the clearing at the base of Little Suhardul Peak, or Suhardul Mic. This is the mountain seen in the background of my earlier posts. It is a paradise for rock climbers and hikers, with several marked climbs and trails criss-crossing the many peaks and outcrops in the area.

This is a nice shot. Your composition is great including the wildflowers in the foreground. The vertical format here is very appropriate. The lighting and colors are great with nice sharpness and DOF.

The? shooting tower makes a good scale to the massiv behind and also an indication on human presence. the blue flower in foreground makes the comp even better.

tiii, ce dor m-o apucat de lacu rosu si de chei... am filat un tip acolo o data la catarat pe un traseu de 8+, care cazuse la un moment dat, si care noroc ca is mai greu...

Steve,
as soon as you start working with layers you will have one of the best looking gallerys at TE. Your compositions are already extremely good and thoughtful. I like the sensibility of this here with the contrast of the blossoms against the rock.
