Hello dear Francine, my dear friend !
Very nice b&w shot, very sensitive. Good pov and good quality, and a story...
İt gives us some lessons from the past to our daily life now.
Just a few hours ago I came back from our weekend house on the black sea shore and noticed within the post I did receive a music CD, sent by a friend from Romania. I was just listening to it when I opened now TE . This CD (allthough I do not know Romanian language) is a CD of an artist named Tudor Gheorge, and the song I am just listening has the title : Dorul calator . I couldn't imagine a better background to this wonderfull shot.

Et ben oui, j'étais passé à côté de cette vieille dame... un portrait ...superbe - mon épouse me dit qu'elle lui rappelle son arrière grand mère qui était habillée ainsi, (elle était d'origine maltaise) - j'aime beaucoup son expression paisible, une expression qu'elle devait souvent avoir - beau témoignage d'une occupation, voire d'un métier, qui chez nous n'existe plus - je comprends ton cadre, ou du moins je crois comprendre, c'est en signe de deuil, n'est ce pas ? tu as souvent des photos "touchantes", et je pense que tu dois être dotée d'une grande sensibilité qui t'honore - je te souhaite
