Photographer’s Note

Some flowers to all the young ladies (you´re all young, regardless of age) I´ve been lucky to meet on TE - Isabela, Anellise, Ioana, Teo, Jeri, Andreea, Francine, Veronica, Raluca, Olga, Anna, Elzbieta, Bibi, Malgorzata, Linda - I hope I didn´t forget anyone...
All of you I wish a happy Valentine, and - most important - that there will be somebody to give you real flowers!
In Romania, Valentine is just one of several days around this time of the year when you have to buy flowers or chocolate for your sweethard - in about a week or so there is Dragobetele, the original Romanian version of Valentines day, and on the 1st of March Romanians celebrate the beginning of spring - again, flowers, chocolate, or a "Martisorul", some kind of talisman. Great time for women, hard times for us ;)

Salut Johannes, interesant crop-ul, perfect adaptat la tema zilei, culori foarte clare si buna combinatia de culori complementare. Si e le spun un Happy Valentine (daca exista asa cv) fetelor de pe TE!

This must have been a wonderful meeting :))) And yes, most important, that someone gives you real flowers which not always means that it has to be flowers but someone that shares the same ideas and the passion for things. Hello Johannes,

I saw these beautiful, red flowers and Valentine's Day immediately sprang to mind!

Even without the significance of the day, this is a fine shot. I love how the main flower looks proud, detailed and sharp, and perfectly placed in the frame.
It is nicely balanced by the more demure, slightly blurred b/g flower positioned on a near diagonal.
Excellent!

Foarte agreabile culori, lumina si detalii. E placut sa vezi ceva care iti aminteste de vara, in aceasta iarna care nu se mai termina.
Multumim pentru urari...si Sf. Valentin sa iti aduca tot ce iti doresti !

The quality of this photo is excellent!
Its sharpness on the flower is razor sharp.
And the bokeh around perfectly managed.
Light and colours are just lovely and it was a superb gift for your feminine friends:-)
