Photographer's Note
According to some information gathered together in 1891 by Dimitrie Papazoglu, Bucur Church was built by the shepherd Bucur, also known as the founder of Bucuresti (Bucharest).
But after I read further on Wikipedia, Papazoglu himself has doubts about this and suggesting that the church was built in 1568 by Alexandru II Mircea, the son of Mircea III, also known as Mircea Ciobanu or Mircea the Shepherd.
Originally, Bucur Church was a wooden church.
There are more interesting facts about this church, the main staircase are 33 steps in total and the street address are also 33. Exactly the same number as the age of Jesus Christ was when he died.
Thanks to Isabela Sorescu for the highlight info and show me this Church.

Hello May,
nice the creative perspective from the stairs as lead-in the eye on the entrance of the Bucur church.
Papazoglou is a common name in Hellas.I like the light as the colour management.
Have a good weekend,danos
