The Atheneum in Bucharest

I was just looking into Isabels photo from the inside of the Atheneum in Bucharest and was reminded that I had this outside variant from my visit to the same place last year.

We had a splendid day in Bucharest which included the passing of this fine building, the Atheneum:

Inaugurated on February 26, 1888, creation of the French architect Albert Galleron. The 8 ionic columns of the main entrance have similar proportions as Acropole 's Erechteion and the interior has four stairways made from Carara marble. Very beautiful and original.

Hello Jack,
the deep blue sky offer a great contrast against the facade of the Atheneum; contrast that is even more enhanced by the green of the grass. The central compo works well, quality is good throughout with well visible details.

Hello Jack.
A beautiful architecture shot against a wonderful polarised sky. Lovely colour and contrast, with the green grass making a pleasing change of tone from the white and blue. Good sharpness and a centrally placed building that works well in that position.

Jack,
The deep blue sky forms a nice backdrop for the building. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The centered composition works well here yielding nice balance. The inclusion of the gardens in the foreground adds nice color and texture to the shot.

Un monument impressionnant ! J'aime bien la toiture et la façon dont la lumière tombe dessus ! Cela fait parfaitement ressortir les détails de ce dôme !
L'entrée monumentale est très belle et bien présenter ! La zone d'ombre de gauche dérange un peu !
