Tree (and me behind) in the clouds...

Ascending to the Postavaru chalet (1590m) I was surprised by a magic shadow of this tree…

The Postavaru mountains are worldwide famous for their winter sports.
For climbers it offers a great number of very spectacular walls. The access to the walls is on paths or forest roads in a short time.

Quite a magic atmosphere captured here, with unusually thick fog in the mountains. I think that the composition could have been a bit better if the image was less symmetric.

I assume you set this on a tripod or put the camera on a wall? Interesting how you placed yourself to blend in with the shape of the tree. With so much possible in editing these days it's good to see some real fog and natural altmosphere.

A wonderful and moody picture. The misty fog is well captured. Maybe a hint of vignetting in the corners, but it actually adds to the mood.
