Photographer's Note

The altar of the church on Strada Muresenilor, built in the 18th century by the contribution of Greek and Romanian orthodox,as well as that of the aristocratic family Bracoveanu.Because of the recept religions system, the orthodox weren`t allowed to build churches in the town,so they built it in a yard on the Targul Cailor Street(old name). An inscription in front of the church mentions 1787 as the year of building.
Behind the church there is a cemetery where there a few members of the Brancoveanu family, the metropolitan bishop Dosoftei and a few members of the Greek community.
