The Council Square, a photo from Brasov, East

Photographer's Note

The unquestionable treasure of Brasov is the Piata Sfatului in the heart of the old town. Built in the 13th century, once used as a meeting place fo councilors is now used as a nice stop in the old town for nice scenery with views to colorful architecture and beautiful baroque ornaments. The Council Square boasts the Town Hall built in the beginning of the 15th century making the square one of the finest in the country. At the top of the Town Hall building you will find the Trumpeter’s Tower once used as a watchtower warning the locals from approaching danger. In the Town Hall building you will find the tourist information, Brasov History Museum. Loads of locals using the square as a meeting point gathering and moving on to lovely small cafes found close by. The famous Black Church looks amazing in the southwest corner of the Hall.

Although the motive is interesting, the composition is weak! Cut off from all sides! Colors are unnatural and unpleasant!

Hello Ionut,

Taken out of the hight with a very well result.
The much roofs and the square in middle make this image attractive
Sharpness and clarity are perfect.
Excellent composition, lovely colors.
Nice light management, nice presentation.

Fabulous cityscape from a high point, with fine daylight and good clarity.
Also well divided a skewed angel view on the green forest and line of red roof-tops houses.
Lovely, nice to look at.
