Photographer's Note

Piata Sfatului is the best known and most visited place in the city, frequented by tourists and locals as a place of relaxation and a meeting between friends.
In plaza held various cultural and artistic events, exhibitions, outdoor concerts . It 's the central point of departure for visiting the main attractions of the city.
Since 1520, this place called Markplatz, has been invited to numerous exhibitions with merchants who were overseas.
The square is full of beautiful houses with porches, in used to house the pillory and in it were tried women accused of witchcraft and military accused of various crimes.
Here was beheaded in 1688 Stefan Stener, guild master shoemakers, who resisted the entry of Austria in the city.
The most impressive building is the City Hall, which I showed in a previous photo, located in the center of the square and was built in 1420.

A beautiful summer view of Piata Sfatului. The city hall is a very attractive building and even on top of the mountain Tâmpa one can have a great view of it in the middle of the square.
This picture has an excellent sharpness, splendid colours and I like the small white clouds at both sides of the tower.

Ciao Maurizio,questa citta' ce l'ho proprio sullo stomaco e prima di morire dovro' andare a visitarla per forza.Ho visto tante foto e pure la webcam da questa piazza,un veri spettacolo architettonico,con la chiesa routata a rombo rispetto alle abitazioni.Come ti ripeto ho visto tante foto e la tua si colloca senza dubbio tra le prime in classifica,un vero festival di dettagli e colori.Complimenti e buona giornata,Luciano

Strikingly beautiful, a real neat pin sharp image of a lively plaza in gorgeous colors. Lighting is good and bright perfectly exposed and great contrast The overall effect is very pleasing to the eye but the steeple is the eye puller to the scene. Brilliant capture. Congrats

la imagen tiene una nitidez impresionante, una gran luminosidad y unos colores naturales perfectamente captados.
Me gusta este encuadre con el edificio del ayuntamiento en el primer plano, que se destaca sobre un hermoso cielo azul con unas nubes blancas muy fotogénicas, y la plaza con una arquitectura muy interesante, donde se ve un ambiente muy agradable.
Es una composición excelente.

I remember well your reportage from Romania. This photograph here makes an excellent addition to your collection from that country. I am very impressed with the natural well saturated colors. For me it's possible to take a closer picture from the other side of the road but of course it's need a stitch of several pictures.
