Photographer’s Note

i remember when somebody said" the storm!!!" and in few minutes,maybe one-two,everything becomes frightful and grey,big waves of dust give me the feeling that my life it was ok and what nice place to die;)
the changeability of weather in my country is really new;some days very hot and suddenly dramatic storms..

so,was to this lake"Lacu Sarat",for some pictures and got a storm;)

:)) ce agitatie - bine surprinsa!
stii cum arata: daca ne uitam la tanti asta cu pantaloni scurti 'animal print' si la umbrelele cu paie deasupra mai lipsesc doar fred si barney cu vehiculul ala ciudat facut din butuci si cu gaura in pardoseala prin care isi scot picioarele si 'accelereaza' (sau 'franeaza'???) :))) - da' pe bune chiar asa arata - si e misto :)!

Hi Flory. I like the soft texture of the image. I think the blurriness give the people in the scene some privacy. Nicely compose picture of this fun place. The people seem to be rushing in anticipation of a storm brewing on the horizon. Nice perspective of the moment and place. Thanks :-)

Well captured moment of hurry before the approaching storm. It is interesting to observe how every single person in this scene is in movement.
I guess you were the coolest swimmer there, taking photos instead of picking up your stuff and trying to escape :)

From the chilling Balea Lake, to this bursting storm..and this feels it so well...
The power generated from the nature is well reflected in this image..
Beautifull and a very reflex shot in composition..

Nice atmosphere well conveyed in nicely saturated colors and threatening sky forcing everybody to run! Strong dark sky looks great... maybe a little more sharpening was good too!

A well conveyed atmosphere of rushing because a storm is coming and everybody is in swimming suits. The dramatic sky contributes a lot to that effect. Well saturated pleasant colors .

Excellent composition with the people running to take cover because the storm is coming, you got a lot of motion, very well captured. Despite the bad weather you got good light.

and here,seems all are in a hury because of the sudden storm,but about your note,not only in your region,but only here in Iran,we have strange weather these days,very hot and then amazing storm and rains and...in the summer !
The shot good,seems you capture it very fast,could be better in point of composition with a bit less sky,but overall it show us the situation very well,Thanks for sharing it.

very well captured shot of this little chaos due to the upcoming storm. This year the changeability of the weather characterizes the most of countries all over Europe. Here in Italy only from the last 4-5 days the weather is stable and in Hungary the situation is the same.

Hi Flory, i like this one for the movment on the beach, the movment of those who are about to leave the beach because of the violent rain which is coming for sure ! I know those moments and this is funny to live ... except in caraibs where rain is at 30°C and a pleasure to have pure water on face ;)
Technically this is strange this maximization of contrasts and use of neating ... i like it ;)

Olá Flory, fantastic dramatic atmosphere and nice cinematographic presentation with the dark frame. I can see well the moment you describe in the note. Everyone seems to be freaking out and going away in a hurry. You even got a finger pointing to the threatening sky. Love it!

This photo is very lively, with beautiful colours... The scene is very natural, but the light gives a special effect and brings it to a more cinematic level. Nice capture of the agitation under those menacing clouds... Love it!

Hi Flory,
nicely captured moment. Everybody is in a hurry, the photo is full of live. I don´t know why but I am looking more and more to the hand in the left, it catched my eyes.It looks that the owner of this hand discovered like a first one something on the sky :)
You had good light and what I realy like is the framing - the result is for me like a shot from a moovie.

Looks like they are panicking to get away from the storm, but maybe it is just your note that make me see that:)
Again one of these good pictures of yours, where you take a picture of a situation, not like me, only looking for a subject:)
The over and under framing gives the impression of a filmstrip, very clever Flory.

Hi Florentina.
I just recognized this city from a shot I took from the plane back home from Turkey. So I wanted to see if there were any great shots from there. I found this one, with beautiful colours and the right dramatic mood. The people seem to have a bit panic. Thanks for sharing it.
