Bonsoir Marc,
Wonderfull detail from this Portuguese beautifull palace. Just a small correction, this is not Sintra National Palace, it is in fact located in Sintra but it is called Pena Palace and it is located on the top of the Hill. The Sintra National palace is located in the city center.
The Pena National Palace is the oldest palace inspired by European Romanticism. It is a national monument and constitutes one of the major expressions of 19th century Romanticism in the world. The palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal.
Nevertheless, it is really a wonderfull detail of it you have captured here!
Hope you don't mind the correction but... I am portuguese and I love this palace,so... couldn't help it :)

This is an excellent perspective and very original indeed. The definition is superb and the colours too. Well done.

Hello Marc.
A very interesting composition, one which allows us to see up the winding staircase and uses the curving banister to great effect to creat perspective and depth. I love the colours here, and the lens distortion which adds to the feeling of looking upwards. Then there's that little patch of blue sky! A marvellous shot indeed.
Regards,
Andrew

It looks chaotic, but it is actually a very well composed and clean picture, where different form and colors mix very well together armonically. I really like it
