200 images to paint Portugal Photo

Photographer’s Note

With this post, I reached the picture number 200 of Portugal in TE.

It's not very good picture but has the sun and the warm weather of Portugal.

I hope you appreciate this one

I post in the WS another version of the this place, in the same day, 14 minutes after

Portugal, officially the Portuguese Republic is a country on the Iberian Peninsula. Located in southwestern Europe, Portugal is the westernmost country of mainland Europe and is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west and south and by Spain to the north and east. The Atlantic archipelagos of the Azores and Madeira are also part of Portugal.
Portugal has an administrative structure of 308 municipalities (Portuguese singular/plural: concelho/concelhos), which are subdivided into more than 4,000 parishes (freguesia/freguesias). Municipalities are grouped for administrative purposes into superior units. For continental Portugal the municipalities are gathered in 18 Districts, while the Islands have a Regional Government directly above them. Thus, the largest unit of classification is the one established since 1976 into either mainland Portugal (Portugal Continental) or the autonomous regions of Portugal (Azores and Madeira).
The 18 district capitals of mainland Portugal are: Aveiro, Beja, Braga, Bragança, Castelo Branco, Coimbra, Évora, Faro, Guarda, Leiria, Lisbon, Portalegre, Porto, Santarém, Setúbal, Viana do Castelo, Vila Real, and Viseu - each district takes the name of the district capital.
The European Union's system of Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics is also used. According to this system, Portugal is divided into 7 regions (Açores, Alentejo, Algarve, Centro, Lisboa, Madeira, and Norte), which are subdivided into 30 subregions. Wikipedia

Eu acho que está linda com equele sol enorme. A cor laranja parece um pouco saturada mas ao mesmo tempo aquece muito bem a imagem. A silhueta do barco até me parecia a Torre de Belém logo que vi a foto. A ponte ficou muito bonita e certamente que muita gente dirá que "aquelas duas pessoas" ficam muito bem ali na base do pilar!

This is simply beautiful. Honestly, I prefer the one, you gave to WS - it is more dynamic and more colorful - I love it.
But this one is incredibly warm and peaceful I can almost hear the soft waves washing the sand...
And one more - I love how you divided the picture with clouds - intentionally, or not, you did. Over the bridge, there are marvellous clouds, that changed into the next photo...

If there was a need to remind us Portugal is a warm country, well this image is very appropriate, I'm sweating looking at it and the silhouettes against the setting sun work well contrasting.

la foto è simile per soggetto a quella intitolata "TE meeting ?", e come quella, anche questa è di grande effetto.
Molti di noi corrono per raggiungere la 100th foto, mentre vedo che tu hai già raggiunto la 200th inerente ad un solo stato dei tanti da te fotografati. Bravo!

Perdonami una cosa. In questa foto hai messo come indicazione geografica "Lisboa", mentre nell'altra "Setubal". E' corretto così, visto che si tratta della stessa immagine?

My sincere congratulations! 200 photographic pictures are not so little in view of that, they originate only from one part of the world. The incredible red of happening sun. The excellent, graphic and contour- picture magnificently corresponds with the prevailing colour. There pleases to me graphic of this photo, the strange background and the excellent composition.

Parabéns pela 200ª portuguesa! Tenho que pensar se hei-de dizer alguma coisa eu quando chegar às 150.
O laranja quase vermelho do céu está espectacular e o grafismo das silhuetas da ponte, do navio, dos guindastes e do sol produz um grande impacto. Acho que as nuvens a tornam ainda mais interessante.
A única coisa menos bem é que parece ligeiramente inclinada para a direita, o que é algo estranho pois indo "medir a olho", os ângulos são mínimos e só dá para notar no horizonte, onde esperaria que o perfil ligeiramente mais elevado à direita compensasse o efeito.

achei a foto muito boa, e ainda mais em se tratando da de número 200, sempre representando bem Portugal. O engraçado é que só Minas Gerais, o estado onde moro, ja tem mais munícipios que Portugal, são 853! Só não entendo o quer dizer com freguesias aí, aqui são conhecidas no máximo como nome de alguns bairros de cidades, talvez seria comparado aos distritos no Brasil, que pertencem á um mesmo município, mas tem uma estrutura administrativa própria, ams subrodinada ao municipio. Belo trabalho aqui.

Vê-se que são infinitas as possibilidades de belas fotos em Portugal, câmeras em hábeis mãos como as tuas. Deve ter sido uma tarefa difícil escolher entre esta e a do WS para apresentar como principal. O sol está magnífico aqui, sem mais palavras ;-) O grafismo da ponte é um destaque marcante também. Bom dia Aires, e lá dizes tu que só te podes safar com as nocturnas que vão enchendo a tua galeria. Não podia deixar de vir aqui pois está espectacular. Nem sei o que queres dizer com 'it's not a very good picture'! Já tinha gostado muito da outra deste género com os fotógrafos. Os tons avermelhados são hipnóticos e aquele sol a entrar no horizonte é espectacular. Talvez cortasse um pouco para me livrar daquelas linhas no canto. O WS também está muito bom. Parabéns.

I'm a little late in congratulating you on this milestone, but better late than never, right?
I have to say that I have always associated Portugal with orange colour, although I cannot explain the reason. the sun? madeira? :) in any case, I strongly support your choise of the photo to mark the occasion :) the golden tones are beautiful, while the dark silhouettes add definition to the scene. very nice work, I like it.
