Fantastic depth to this great composition. I like how the shoreline and mountains gradually recede into the distance and come together at the vanishing point. Very good natural colours making for excellent tonal contrasts. A really pleasing image, well done.

Olá Ulf,

great composition. This intense blue sky is what I look for in my images. It brings an attractive dramatism into the scene. The emptiness of the sand is a nice invitation to follow the image to the hill and the beach. Superb clarity and definition. Great job!

Olá Ulf,
TFS for sharing the less known beauties of my country with us. I don't think I ever saw this deserted beach. It's a great image, as grandiose as the beach. I like its minimalism ("just" a big expanse of sand, another big expanse of sky, a bit of sea and a scarp), clarity, sharpness and contrast.

!982 war ich auch zum ersten mal in P.und der beach in Figueras da Foz war genauso verlassen und ich erinnere mich an die tausende von Schildern "se vende" Land zu verkaufen.P. war damals das Armenhaus Europa`s.
Ein tolles Bild diese Strandes,nicht einmal ein Fußabdruck zu sehen.Endlose Tiefe und schöner Kontrast zwischen Sand und Himmel.

Hi Ulf. What a wide and clean, natural beach. Quite a change from the Belgian coastline which is almost completely filled with buildings. So, I'm very happy to see that behind the sand of the beach there is nature. Nice capture, thx for sharing.

Ulf,
This is a very appealing shot of a great beach. The lighting and colors are great and causes the beach to provide nice contrast to the deep blue sky. Your low POV is nice allowing us to see the textures of the sand. The lines created by the shoreline and cliffs form a nice arrow that leads the eye through the shot.

Olá Ulf, one of the most beautiful beaches of Portugal and for sure a very known one in summer, specially for surf. Superb minimalist composition. Just love the sense of vast space here and the half/half composition. Congratulations for this very beautiful capture.
