Photographer’s Note
These are representatives of the famous Portuguese tiles. As here on TE we learn about the world through photography, I felt it was needed to share this detail. The photo is made somewhere in Bairro Alto, one of the most charming places I've seen. These tiles are not the most impressive ones, neither they are in a good state, but as everything there they bore authenticity which no shining structure can offer. Walking through these streets, at that time I didn't want to think that this is perhaps the first and last time I would see these places during my stay in Lisbon. Hopefully I'll go back there for much longer. Till then photos of tiny details will remind me of the beautiful city.

Howdy Tsvetana!
Amazing tiles. Good lightness, very good sharpness. Original composition.
