| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is a shot I made of a typical house in the small town of Obidos which is relatively close to Lisbon. We wenton a tour and didn't have time enough to really enjoy this beautiful medieval town characterized by white houses which all show some details, usually stripes, in one of the four colors allowed: electric blue, burgundy, dark green or yellow (scuh as in this shot).
I liked the symmetry shown in the picture and the color combination, as well as the composition resulting from the crop. I furthermore increased contrast (it was a rainy day and everything looked kind of washed out) and sharpened a bit. I finally resized. |

The symmetry of the windows is perfect , I like especially the colors' harmony between the green tones.
The roof is also attractive.
