Not only is the varied compilation of people interesting but also the lighting is very nice. I like how it is coming through the gap of the buildings. The person leaning against the corner of building holding the bag is my favorite detail, and her shadow too. Has the Rossio Station reopened yet? It was closed when I was there last year.

olá, mais uma fotografia muito bem conseguida! as cores estão fantásticas! quanto à tua nota devo confessar que isso é uma das coisas que estou constantemente a fazer. nao que páre no meio do passeio para observar, mas sempre que ando de transportes publicos ou quando espero numa fila adoro observar as pessoas, nao no sentido de as espiar, mas sim para ver como reagem ao que lhes rodeia. é engraçado que as pessoas nao fazem isto tanto quando estão no seu país, mas quando viajam acabam por o fazer, nem que seja de forma inconsciente. muito do gozo de uma viagem vem do que lá se observa!!! abraço

perfecto contraste en este fuerte contraluz, muy bien controlado y con unas sombras magníficas.
Me gusta tu encuadre, la interesante arquitectura, la gente en esta escena cotidiana, y las texturas y brillos del pavimento de adoquines.
Es un trabajo muy bien realizado, como siempre.

Bonjour Paulo,
pas trop de vie dans cet endroit, il est vrai qu'apparement, il ne s'agit pas d'un quartier très commerçant.
Pas facile à cadrer tout cela et la porte à droite en a fait les frais.
J'aime beaucoup cette lumièrequi vien de gauche et les ombres allongées.
C'est net et bien exposé.

I have passed many times in front of this elegand station but could find a good chance to take such a beautiful photo. The result is really wonderful. Lights and shadows reflecting on the cobble stones and walls are really amazing. Congratulations, Tolga

Excelente título, Paulo. E que luz magnífica - no fundo é a coisa mais importante em fotografia e tu estás cada vez melhor na sua captura. Gosto muito deste personagem do lado direito a jogar com a encostada na esquina, ambos apanhados neste feixe de luz. Os reflexos de luzes na bela fachada do Rossio são sempre um espectáculo - sempre que passo lá olho pare elas. Muito bom trabalho que tens aqui.

Olá Paulo,

Tens aqui um bom trabalho fotográfico no que diz respeito a luz e sombras.As cores dentro da mesma escala cromática criam uma atmosfera muito própria. Sem a presença humana esta foto também não seria a mesma coisa.

A simple streetscene but so many things to view and I like the people there in action and different poses.I like this frozen scene which you will never see again in real life.I like too the soft brown tones and the texture of this place with the cobblestones.

Colours & light, I have to learn from you how you use them time & time again..excellent. Here you've used harsh backlight so effectively! Strong shadows, strong contrasts, different poises (attitudes as you say) of people...life goes on. I especially like the light in a diagonal as it falls on the cobbled street. Very good work my friend!
