I like this Willem - great feeling of wide-open space, and the haze in the background gives a good impression of depth to the image.
Personally I think it would benefit from a big crop along the bottom to cut down on the amount of empty space in the foreground. It would also have been better if you'd taken it when the man was walking down the beach away from you instead of looking into camera.

Hi Willem,

The different design left on the sand by the water are a complement to the composition. The mist is hiding the mountains in the background. The light hidden partialy by the clouds is giving darker colors to the subject. The presence of the person has an effect of scale. Have a nice day.
