Photographer’s Note

beatiful morning on our portuguese road. picture taken 'somewhere' in the middle-north part o Portugal, at the far end of Serra de Estrela mountains. I climbed up the hill, used tripod and shot. I really like colours on the picture: falls yellow and dark green parts of flora. I got nice sky that morning, and although it looks quite stormy, it was a beatiful day. I decided to use classic rule of thirds -- foreground, then the road and hill and the sky. If I could take that picture again, I'd show more road and try to find an object to the front, to keep the eye on it. hope you like it..

Nice image with a good perspective and pov. the lights and colours are managed well and the image has overall impact. I like the way its been composed and presented. The tones are textures are well used along with the depth of the canvass.

wonderful cached light with smooth mood that breeds a bit of atumn. the grass in the forground gives the sky a good deep.
