Greece has just won the Euro Cup 2004
I want to send my congratulations to all the helenic nation, and pay my simple hommage with this foreseeing image, taken at the celebrations before their match against the Check Republic, in Porto.
They were worthy opponents, behaved very very well, and kicked many nations from the tournment, namely Portugal, right on the final ! ;)
I loved the way the whole euro went on, lots of fun, and joy, and from what I've heard, the best "fair-play" euro and one of the best organizations ever.
Meet you all back in 2 years for the world cup !

Emanuel thank you for the image and for the congrats! These hours I need desperately to see pics of the fum in Lisbon since I am far away from Greece also. I am full of joy, happy and exitement about our win which is like a fairytale...I can not believe it yet. But I have also to congratulate portugal for the great game! Viva football!
