Photographer’s Note

After several hours of walk, we arrive at Santana by the road of Queimadas. Santana (alt. 575 m) is the more animated village of the northern coast of Madeira. Inhabited by approximately 22'000 people, this one has schools, banks, supermarkets, a port and even a park about Madeira.
Lastly, if it's the starting point of some splendid excursions, Santana is especially known for the typicity of some of its houses.

Hi Christophe,
A beautiful capture!
I like so much the vivid and well saturated colours got here, with the alternance of the greens and red of the house's roofs.
It's very good the composition made with the road and the vegetation.

Hello Christophe,

Le chemin est une belle entrée dans l'image et on devine qu'il se prolonge jusqu'à l'océan au loin ! Je trouve que la ligne d'horizon aurait pu être un peu plus haut plaçée ! Elle ici presqu'au centre de l'image ! Par contre les couleurs sont très belles et bien saturées !
Il s'agit de cette fameuse descente dont les pieds se souviennent !!

Foto muito agradável com uma vista da vila muito bonita e cores esplêndidas. O PDV é muito bom e o facto de se poder ver até ao mar contribui para a beleza da imagem.

les couleurs ressortent tres bien, surtout les toit parmis cette vegetation.

La jonction mélée entre le ciel et la mer est magnifique et la gamme de bleu qui la compose est superbe.

Hej Christophe,
A very nice view over the houses of the town, that are also nicely alternated with trees and other nature. The road is well placed in the foreground. I like very much the background, there seems to be nothing but blue sky and clouds behind the edge of the land. Good work!
