Firm alliance with the kings of Cochim and Cananor, where it installs feitorias. The Lisbon with avultada load of spices returns. - 1524: Third trip to India, already with the heading of conde of the Vidigueira and in the quality of Vice-king. It tries to put end the disobediences and abuses. The 25 of December die in Cochim.
