Photographer’s Note
Everybody who goes to Porto must go to restaurants on the Douro river banks. And of course evarybody takes a picture of colorful buildings there. I was not the exception to this rule and I used a 10-20 mm wideangle Sigma lens and a polarizing filter to show how I saw it.
If you remove satelite antennas you migh get a picture of Porto 50 years ago. If you forther remove the metal construction housing a lift to the upper town, you might get a picture of Porto 100, 200 years ago.

Hello Marek,
Great picture here!
I really like the way buildings contrast with the sky (you were lucky the sky was so beautiful).
Taking buildings with a wide angle can be very difficult, but you managed to make it real natural.

François

Fajne, ja takich zdjec nie moglem zrobic, bo nie mialem szerokiego kata, a z drugiego brzegu Douro jakos juz slabo bylo widac :) Bardzo fajnie to ujales i filterek ladnie uzyty.

ahah you're right, Oporto still owes the charm of 100 years ago :))))) i just love that place...
you're photo is very nice, i also like to use my wide angle lens, the only problem i note is that colours are a little bit dull, it has a grey colorcast or something like that.
